Best Floor Liners for a Silverado or Sierra 1500: Husky WeatherBeater

Quick Take
For most Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 trucks of the T1XX generation (2019 on), buy the Husky WeatherBeater. The hard tray runs over the dead pedal (the footrest left of the brake), nibs on its underside bite into the carpet so it doesn't creep, and its Crew Cab set costs noticeably less than WeatherTech's. Husky also has confirmed front pairs for the Double Cab and the standard cab.
On a GM half-ton the right listing turns on the cab, what sits under the rear seat and whether the front is a bench. The Husky Crew Cab set we confirmed needs factory carpet and the rear under-seat storage. A Crew Cab with a front bench, no 4x4 shifter and no storage box is the one layout where we'd send you to WeatherTech, whose over-the-hump set is built for it, and TuxMat's Silverado set is the softer, less slippery choice for winter.
Each pick below carries a fit table for the T1XX layouts its listings confirm, so match your cab, front seat and rear storage before anything goes in the cart. See picks ↓
GM built the T1XX in a lot of floor layouts, and liner makers cut a set for each. Crew Cab, Double Cab and standard cab trucks take different pieces. A Crew Cab can have a front bench or buckets, storage bins under the rear seat or a flat floor, and some trucks have vinyl instead of carpet. Order for the wrong combination and you'll be printing a return label.
We'd buy the Husky WeatherBeater, the same liner we recommend for most trucks. It's a stiff tray rather than a soft mat, and it wins on the basics: the footrest is covered, the liner stays put, and the edges stay flat for years. The WeatherTech FloorLiner and TuxMat cost more and fit narrower briefs, WeatherTech for a bench-seat Crew Cab, TuxMat for snow and the widest coverage.
Which liner suits which truck
- Most Silverados and Sierras, work trucks included: the Husky WeatherBeater. It covers the footrest, nibs underneath pin it to the carpet, and Husky draws far fewer curled-edge complaints than WeatherTech. Being a rigid tray, it lifts out and dumps clean after a wet day.
- A Crew Cab with a front bench: the WeatherTech FloorLiner bench set, with one front piece that spans the center hump. Its listing limits it to trucks with no 4x4 shifter and no rear underseat storage box.
- Snow country and wall-to-wall coverage: TuxMat. A vinyl top over EVA foam climbs the sides of each footwell for wider coverage than either tray, and its textured top grips better when boots come in packed with snow. It holds less standing water, and the Silverado set we confirmed suits one rear-storage layout.
- A Double Cab or a standard cab: Husky's front pairs are the only liners here confirmed for either cab. Husky also lists a Double Cab set in three pieces and a Double Cab rear liner, neither of which we've confirmed.
- A vinyl floor: no pick has a listing we confirmed for one. The section on GM's own liners and work trucks covers your options.
The three liners on paper
All three reviewed liners are cut from laser measurements of a specific vehicle and come in versions by cab and seat layout; the Husky WeatherBeater, WeatherTech FloorLiner and TuxMat reviews lay out each maker's material, coverage, install and warranty terms.
Ignore the word soft on Husky's Amazon page: on the floor the WeatherBeater behaves like a stiff tray, close to WeatherTech's original FloorLiner. The softer options are Husky's X-act Contour, which we like for its grip though owners say newer sets run thinner, and WeatherTech's FloorLiner HP, which we haven't confirmed for the T1XX.
Find your layout
Start with the cab, then lift the rear seat cushion, then look at the front seat. Here's what we confirmed on each listing's product page, next to the listings we found but couldn't confirm:
Your T1XX | Husky WeatherBeater | WeatherTech FloorLiner | TuxMat |
|---|---|---|---|
Crew Cab, rear under-seat storage | Three-piece set, listing reads 2019-2025; factory carpet required | 1st & 2nd row set, 2019-2026; the listing gives no seat or storage note | Silverado set, 2019-2027, only with the optional storage without lid; the Sierra listing is not confirmed |
Crew Cab, no rear storage | Front pair, 2019-2026; no rear liner confirmed | Bench set only (front bench, no 4x4 shifter, no storage box); the other set gives no storage note | On TuxMat's site; no Amazon listing confirmed |
Crew Cab, front bench | Front pair names no seat type | Over-the-hump bench set, 2019-2026; not for trucks with a 4x4 shifter or rear storage box | Listing names no seat type |
Double Cab | Front pair, 2019-2026; a three-piece set and a rear liner are listed, fit not confirmed | None confirmed | Silverado Double Cab set listed, fit not confirmed; TuxMat says it does not fit the 1500 LD |
Standard (regular) cab | Front pair, 2019-2026 | None confirmed | None confirmed |
The fit table under each pick carries the part numbers and every listing's own wording. A secondhand set is a poor bargain here, since Husky, WeatherTech and TuxMat each limit the warranty to the first buyer.
Whichever set you order, take the GM mats out first and press the brake and accelerator to the floor with the liner in place. With TuxMat, whose coverage reaches toward the seats and sills, also run each front seat through its full travel and shut every door before you drive.
Crew Cab: what is under the rear seat
On a Crew Cab the rear floor is where the listings part ways. Lift the rear seat cushion and see whether GM's under-seat storage is there before you order. Husky's three-piece set needs it, along with factory carpet. TuxMat's Silverado set needs it too, and its listing narrows that to the optional storage without a lid. WeatherTech's bench set is for trucks without the storage box, while its other Crew Cab set says nothing about seats or storage, so hold its photos up against your own floor.
A Crew Cab without the storage has fewer confirmed answers. Husky's front pair fits it, and we didn't confirm a Husky rear liner to go behind it. TuxMat sells a no-storage Crew Cab set on its own site, with no Amazon listing confirmed. On a bench truck with no 4x4 shifter, the WeatherTech bench set is the confirmed full set for that floor.
Check the model year on the Husky set too. Its listing reads 2019-2025, while Husky's front pairs and both WeatherTech sets read 2019-2026 and TuxMat's reads 2019-2027. On a 2026 Crew Cab, check fit for your truck before you order the three-piece set.
You don't have to buy Husky's Crew Cab floor as one set. A Silverado Crew Cab owner put in WeatherBeater fronts, a full rear liner and the center hump piece as separate liners, though the post doesn't give the truck's year. We haven't confirmed Husky's rear or hump listings for the T1XX; the hump piece is in the Husky fit table as a search link, so check fit for your truck.
Bench seats, the hump and the 4x4 shifter
A front bench changes the front piece. WeatherTech's bench set uses a single over-the-hump liner across the front floor, and WeatherTech's FAQ says some vehicle designs allow a one-piece over-the-hump liner while others force a two-piece design. The listing restricts that set to Crew Cabs with no 4x4 shifter and no rear underseat storage box. If your bench truck has either one, this set isn't for it.
Husky's front pair doesn't say whether it suits a bench or buckets, so compare its listing photos with your floor. TuxMat's Silverado listing doesn't mention the front seat at all.
Silverado or Sierra, and the badge traps
Every Husky and WeatherTech listing we confirmed names both the Silverado 1500 and the Sierra 1500 in its title. TuxMat lists them apart. The set we confirmed is for the Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, and the Sierra 1500 Crew Cab has its own listing, which we found but didn't confirm; search for the TuxMat Sierra 1500 set and check fit for your truck. Don't assume the Chevrolet part carries over.
For 2019, confirm which truck you have. GM kept selling the previous generation new that year as the Silverado 1500 LD and the Sierra 1500 Limited, and these T1XX listings aren't for it. TuxMat says outright that its Silverado Double Cab set won't fit the LD.
For 2022 the names return, this time on a T1XX. The 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD and Sierra 1500 Limited carried the pre-refresh T1XX into that year, so they sit inside the 2019-on years these listings give. No floor-liner listing here mentions the LTD or Limited by name, so match the cab, seat and storage as you would on any T1XX.
GM's own liners, vinyl floors and work trucks
GM's factory liners have a loyal camp of their own, and two owners who've run Husky and WeatherTech rank the factory set above both. They aren't flawless. GM liners bought for a 2025 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate arrived with edges that didn't sit flat and scuffs out of the box, and one owner finds the channels on their factory set too low, letting snowmelt run everywhere. If your factory liners fit and hold the slush, keep them. If they don't, the WeatherBeater is the upgrade we'd make.
A vinyl floor rules out the Husky set we confirmed, whose listing requires factory carpet. Husky's front pairs, the WeatherTech sets and the TuxMat set don't mention the floor at all, so ask the seller before fitting any of them to vinyl. 3D MAXpider lists Kagu sets for vinyl-floor Crew Cabs with a bench or buckets; we haven't confirmed those listings or reviewed the Kagu, so search for the Kagu vinyl-floor sets and check fit for your truck.
A carpeted work truck gets the same pick. The WeatherBeater has spent a year under steel-toe boots without wear, and a tray that keeps its edges flat matters more on a truck that's in and out of mud all day than on a commuter.
How each one wears
The WeatherBeater has the cleanest long-term record of the three, with sets that still look new at six, eight and about ten years, while curling edges are the WeatherTech FloorLiner's most common complaint by a wide margin. TuxMat's record runs to about three years, and stitching is its weak point so far: on one truck set it began coming apart where boots cross the door sill.
What we'd put in each T1XX
- Crew Cab with carpet and rear under-seat storage: the WeatherBeater three-piece set.
- Double Cab, standard cab, or a Crew Cab on a tighter budget: the WeatherBeater front pair, adding a rear piece on a Double or Crew Cab once you've confirmed one fits.
- Crew Cab with a front bench, no storage box and no 4x4 shifter: the WeatherTech bench set.
- A Silverado Crew Cab with the lidless rear storage in snow country: TuxMat, if grip and coverage matter more to you than holding a spill.
On a vinyl floor, start from the search links above and order nothing until the seller confirms your layout.

WeatherTech FloorLiner (1st & 2nd Row)
Noticeably pricier than the Husky on a Crew Cab. Buy it for a bench-seat Crew Cab with no 4x4 shifter or storage box, where its over-the-hump set fits. Keep an eye on the edges, which curl on some sets.

What owners say
Silverado and Sierra owners want a liner that fits their exact cab, holds snowmelt and doesn't turn slick in winter. Husky is their most popular brand, some of that for the softer X-act Contour, and one Silverado Crew Cab owner runs WeatherBeater fronts, rear and center hump as separate pieces. GM's own all-weather liners have a loyal camp, and some owners who've had the factory set, WeatherTech and Husky rank the factory set first. The factory set has critics too: a 2025 Denali Ultimate set arrived looking slightly warped and scuffed, and one owner finds its channels too low to hold snowmelt. TuxMat has a smaller following, including a heavy-duty Sierra owner and a truck owner who praises its winter grip and has seen its door-sill stitching start to come apart. The standard WeatherTech FloorLiner draws few fans here; the Sierra owner who swears by WeatherTech runs the softer FloorLiner HP. Our pick for most T1XX trucks stays the WeatherBeater, with the cab, front seat and rear storage deciding the listing.
“I have husky in my Silverado 1500 the individual fronts and the rear that covers the whole floor. I like them over the weather techs I had years ago. Weather techs were still great and looked better than the factory ones in your photo.”
“I’ve tried the OEM ones, the weathertech ones, and the husky ones and I personally like the husky ones the best.”
“I've actually used Weathertech and Husky in the past and IMO the OEM ones are nicer, which seems to be the opposite of other people's experiences here.”
“I like the OEM ones better than the Husky and Weathertechs I have had in the past.”
“I don't like the low channels on the OEM set, they let snow melt go everywhere.”
