Owners sayLong-term owners of earlier versions praise the fit, the looks and the independent tailgate, and some came back for a second one. The most common complaint is leaking, especially at the front corners by the rear window and at the tailgate end, and a professional install doesn't prevent it: seven owners with dealer or shop installs still describe leaks. They like the easy install, the full bed access and the price. Of the twelve who describe water in the bed, seven report a dry or nearly dry bed, three a little water, mostly at the tailgate end in car washes, and two real leaks, both from fit.
Our verdictA secure, good-looking folder whose seals need work out of the box: buy it for looks and access, not a dry bed.The value soft roll-up we would buy over the Lo Pro: drier on owner record and cheaper on most beds; soap and water only, no conditioners.
